FROM THE CHAIR

Mail from the Chair - 38

22/7/2013

Hope you are all enjoying the hot weather.  It is certainly good for our match fee income and for selling cold drinks behind the bar.  Just a few things re. Clubmark from me

We had a very successful surprise Clubmark site visit on 10th July during Colts.  The inspector was very impressed with our set up and organisation.  There were a few minor recommendations which we are in process of actioning.

Thanks again to all those involved.  On the night (and every Wednesday night) the efforts of Kieran, Ken, Ben, Mark and all other coaches/ helpers are well beyond the call of duty!  The assessor really appreciated all your input, so thank you!
Thanks also to Gleno for pulling all the paperwork together.  No mean feat I can assure you!  As I say, there are few things that he and I are working on to try and get our application 'over the time' before the end of the season.
As part of Clubmark, the club has established a development plan that will review and update annually.  Glen and I have set this up and please find it attached FYI.  If there are any comments, suggestions or concerns then please let Glen or I know.  Nothing is set is stone, but we have had to make a start to get the process going.

Cricket is being played all weekend.  Please let captains know you availability so they have an easier job arranging teams.

Thanks to all and good luck to all NECC players for the coming weekend/s
